SEPT 28TH GREEN WING MACAW (RED IN COLOUR). LAST SEEN NEAR OYSTER BUILDINGS ON NORTH SIDE OF SOOKE HARBOUR. RUFUS IS HIS NAME. SUBSTANTIAL REWARD OFFERED FOR HIS FINDING. CALL 250-597-0405 OR EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org
Rufus my folks Green Wing Macaw took off from their Sooke Waterfront Property late Wednesday — Last seen flying down north side of Sooke Harbour near the old Oyster Farm buildings
The area is tree ( high tree ) dense. Knowing Rufus he will be hiding in the thick of a tree high up.
My father has been looking for him from sun-up to sundown.
Mango, my moms Military Macaw ( his love ) has been with my dad each day hollering from him..
He has not responded. I don’t find this too strange, because we have a “frequent” flyer Tango, our Catalina macaw and when we have had to use ( our Blue and Gold Archie ) who is his lover scream call him he does not respond either.
I have a strong sense he is hiding and keeping quite out of fear.
Rufus is about 15 years old he’s BIG – very timid and shy.
Substanial Reward offered — here is a photo of our boy
Since you’re here, we have a small favour to ask.
At 1.7 million page views over the past year, more people than ever are reading SPN. We had hoped advertising local services and events would sustain this service, but that has not come to pass. Advertising revenues are falling; status quo is unsustainable. Readers, please consider a small monthly donation. This can help secure the future of SPN. Business owners: Please consider an ad. More than massive local exposure, you will also be affiliated with an independent business that is 100% local, 99% paperless, and highly valued by the 98%. That’s priceless.
