The Sooke Region Museum is pleased to announce the second of three talks in our spring speakers series Tea, Talk & Treats in cooperation with the University of Victoria Speakers Bureau. These talks look at a wide variety of subjects and will pair a snack with the topic.
The talks are free of charge, but donations towards the snack are appreciated.

A Guide to Seaweed Identification and Food Preparation
This presentation will provide tips on how to ID seaweed species commonly found in BC It will also describe some fun facts (including the health benefits of seaweeds), helpful resources, and useful tips on the best places to find individual species. Finally, the presentation will cover some delicious recipes that incorporate seaweeds into their ingredients.
