SEAPARC invites the public to celebrate Family Day on Monday, February 12 between noon and 6:00 pm. Take advantage of their free Family Day admission to the public swimming and skating:
- ThePool is open to everyone between 12:00-6:00pm
- The Family Fun Skate is between 12:00-3:00pm
- The Family & Friends Hockey is between 3:15-5:00pm

Royal BC Museum
Also free within driving distance is admission to the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm they are featuring photography-related activities in the Wildlife Photography of the Year feature exhibition.

The Royal BC Museum is open between 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and is located at 675 Belleville Street, right on Belleville Street at the border between downtown Victoria and James Bay.
Ceder Hill Recration
There’s a free Family Arts Festival at the Arts Centre at Cedar Hill Recreation, in Victoria (3220 Cedar Hill Road), between 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. “This fun-filled family event is a celebration of imagination, creativity and discovery. Kids of all ages will enjoy a wide variety of activities led by Arts Centre staff and guests from Greater Victoria’s arts community. Explore the world of visual arts, dance, music and theatre through hands-on stations and performances.”
In Victoria, the BC Transit schedule will follow the regular Saturday Schedule on Family Day (Monday Feb 12 2018), and there will be no late night service. See the Holiday Service page.
As announced on Friday, this is the last year that Family Day falls on the second Monday of February. Starting next year, it will fall on the third Monday of February.
