A Canada-wide health statement was issued today. What do you think of these shared health priorities? — 1 Comment

  1. here’s what I would have liked to seen: restore coverage of eye and dental; expand and protect all the strains of medical marijuana, and ensure it is grown organically; coverage of Natureopathic, Homeopathic, Traditional Indigenous and Chinese Medicines and homeopathic medicine and vitamins and other supplements; coverage of chiropractic and other physical and rehab treatments; acupuncture; other wellness treatments. More and more people around the world are finding information from doctors, scientists and institutions about the dangers of pharmaceutical drugs which are often based on Nazi experiments on concentration camp victims, the dangers of vaccines, chemotherapy, radiation and x-rays. More and more people are realizing the best medicine is clean air and water, and food grown without pesticides, petrochemicals, antibiotics, sold without added high fructose corn syrup and other GMO sugars, carcinogenic colourings, “natural” and artificial flavours, processed food sold in plastic packaging, seeing the benefits of grass-fed free-range animals, raw milk and cheese, bread made with heirloom and heritage wheat, not Monsanto glyphosate. All plants have medicinal purposes, but these can only be accessed from the whole plant, not tiny derivatives made into pharma drugs with all of their deadly side effects. We need to move away from medicine based on and beholden to the pharmeutical industry and towards healing the planet, it’s ecosystems and thereby ourselves. Stay away from the grocery and supermarket aisles which contain packaged corporate industrial food, seek out fresh organic produce both in the store and from local farmers. Now that’s a health care plan I’d like to see Canada implement!
