-Kemp Lake Waterworks
The flushing to mitigate turbidity and the super chlorination over the weekend went very well.
Water samples from three different places in the district were taken in to the lab for testing on Monday. Another sample was sent in today (Tues).
Chlorine will be more noticeable in the water for a period of time as the system stabilizes and re-establishes a more agreeable balance.
All we can do now is wait for the lab tests to be completed and the results to be forwarded to the Vancouver Island Health Authority for their review. In the mean time, the boil water advisory remains in effect until VIHA rescinds the advisory.
We are hopeful that we will hear from VIHA by the end of this week. As soon as we do hear anything, we will post another notice.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
