Here are the items on the agenda for Monday’s Regular Council meeting, March 25 starting at 7pm, at 2225 Otter Point Road (entrance is beside the fire hall). Show up and speak up, or forever hold your peace.
Development Variance Permit – 1820 Maple Ave, includes a Public Input session. The Development Variance is for the purposes of constructing an off-site loading facility in the municipal right-of-way for the development located at 1820 Maple Avenue South. There’s also a request for an easement for the 27m² area as shown in Plan EPP90801 for the sum of $10,899.00.
Five Year Financial Plan (see the Draft Budget, Financial Plan summarizing Comments, and Bylaw 731-Five Year Financial Plan 2019-2023. There will be Public Input, followed by consideration of 3rd reading of the bylaw.
These amended files were added on Monday March 25 to the agenda:
- Bylaw No. 713 – Zoning Amendment Bylaw for 1890 Maple Ave, recommended for adoption.
- Bylaw No. 729 – Zoning Bylaw Amendment for 2489 Otter Point Road, considering first and second reading.
- Bylaw No. 730 – Zoning Bylaw Amendment, for the (possibly four) Cannabis Retail Stores, considering first and second reading, and the scheduling of a public meeting
- Bylaw No. 732 – Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw, considered for adoption
Development Permit PLN01403 Evergreen Mall (target location for a new Tim Hortons). The development site is the former Royal Bank site on Evergreen Mall at 6660 Sooke Rd, adjacent the BC Liquor Store.
