  1. And please don’t accept the fallacy that electric vehicles are “zero emissions”. The emissions from your electric vehicle is simply transferred to the power plant producing the electricity.

    If you live in Alberta, that means your electric vehicle is largely coal-powered.

  2. If costs are a concern, realize that my Nissan Leaf costs less than one dollar to go from Sooke, into Oak Bay, and back home to Sooke. It costs 1.35 cents to go one kilometer. It’s almost free and no pollution. It is the inevitable future. It’s so easy.
