Phil N Rossner joins the Sooke.PocketNews team as a writer at large, and he will also be penning the Entrepreneur column.
Rossner brings with him a wealth of experience and talent, having held pen in hand, way back in the dark days before thumbs did all the texting. “I’ve been writing since I was a teenager,” he says in reference to the “Fiat Lux” (“let there be light”), the student newspaper that he started in his highschool.
He has also written for the Victoria Cool Aid Society when they first started, and has published a number of columns and publications for governments and various magazines on the Island.
Currently, you might know him as the facilitator of the weekly Sooke Sacred Chant Circle that happens at the Sooke Yoga and Wellness centre.
“It’s great nourishment for my soul,” he comments, adding that he loves watching (or perhaps hearing) others flourish as they work with their own voices.
Rossner also facilitates Sooke Meditation and Mindfulness.
His experience runs the gamut, from writer to web designer to musician, and that’s just skimming the surface. His voice is a welcome addition to the electronic pages of Sooke PocketNews!
