Council to consider bylaw amendment in January, allowing mobile homes on residential lots — 6 Comments

  1. Tiny homes, park models and rv’s also need to be discussed. Some people can’t afford a mobile home but could afford a par model or RV. As long as proper sewer, power and water were in place, what is stopping it from happening. Affordable housing incompasses all different levels of housing. It’s also not just about affordability, it’s about eco living. We don’t all need big houses.

  2. Make the statement to Danica Rice vthe planner and also go to council and make the statement.
Lot A,in the high side would make an excellent Spot for camper units for affordable housing as well.i say sell the high side to the province to prepare and set up requirements for truly affordable housing, allow all campsites to have year round camping and allow tiny houses, which are somewhat allowed as granny houses.we need to be more creative and pro active. The rule for landlords need to be changed as well. The swing for rented has gone to far and scared off would be landlords.
