How do I pick up on my partner’s feelings better?
There are visible physical responses, that will give you a clue as to how your partner feels about something.
If you have been together for a while, you will likely be able to pick up on what they are feeling when they enter the room. Feelings of joy, for instance, bring on smiles, relaxed shoulders, gentle tones.
When it comes to anger, for instance, there are several signs before the angry person speaks. Narrowed eyes, cheek colour, tight shoulders, louder voices, looking straight at you, abrupt hand gestures.
The key is to learn how your partner’s moods affect their body language, noticing the subtle changes in their energy and react accordingly.
