At the March 26 Regular Council meeting, three bylaw modifications were finalized.
First, following a December 11, 2017 public hearing, the property at 2150 Melrick Place went from being zoned a Large Lot Residential (R1) to be rezoned as a Small Lot Residential (R3).
Second, also following a Jamuary 29, 2018 public hearing, the property at 2298 Phillips Road went from being zoned Rural (RU2) to being rezoned as Medium Lot Residential (R2).
Lastly, final reading and approval was given to modify the Sooke Core Sewer Specified Area Bylaw, 2003, to enlarge the community sewer system service area to include the property at 2298 Phillips Road.
