Police are investigating after door locks of a local COVID-19 vaccine clinic were glued shut.
On September 29th, 2021, staff at the COVID-19 vaccine clinic located at 174-2945 Jacklin Rd contacted the West Shore RCMP after a male suspect allegedly glued the door locks of the business, rendering them inoperable and therefore making entry impossible. The clinic was closed at the time of the incident.
Investigators were able to recently obtain video surveillance and are looking to identify the suspect who is described as:
- Caucasian man in his 50’s,
- 5’8 tall
- Medium build
- Beige tilly hat
- Blue plaid shirt and blue jeans
- Black/white shoes
- Also wearing a black poncho (yellow on this inside)
While we understand that not everyone share the same beliefs during this pandemic, this act of mischief is a criminal offence and will be treated as such, says Cst. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the West Shore RCMP.
