Just before 7 a.m. on Friday April 24, Earthquakes Canada registered a 6.1 magnitude earthquake on the southern tip of Haida Gwaii, informally known as the Charlotte Islands.
This earthquake was felt on Haida Gwaii and the BC north coast, and there are no reports of damage.
