Sasha Gale joins the Society as the Community School Program Coordinator.
Gale works in partnership with the school to maintain and grow programs that foster strong families and deepen community engagement. She is developing programs and working with volunteers, the school district and the community to create a healthy collaborative environment.
Gale has worked in the non-profit arts and community sectors in Vancouver and above the arctic circle in Inuvik, NWT. Over the years she’s worked as an Executive Director, yoga teacher, hairstylist, doula and silversmith. Her artistic background is in textiles, natural dyes and quilting. Her educational background is in French, women’s studies and textiles. She is a mother to two and feels very lucky to have landed in beautiful Sooke.
We welcome Sasha Gale to Sooke and to the EMCS Society.
