  1. I hope and pray alcohol or no other drugs were involved. So,so had. My heart and prayers go out to TT he family. Our 17 year old grandson along with 3 of his best friends who gave frequented our home since youngsters ,all started driving this year. They hear a lit from us all about driving safely.to all you drivers out there ,these vehicles are huge machines. Operate with caution.

  2. So very sad they had their whole life ahead of them , in a split second gone. My thoughts and prayers to the family

  3. There are no words that can express the horrible loss of this young man. His family is well loved by the Sooke Hockey families.

I pray for strength for the parents, syblings, grandparents, and for all who knew him.

As a community we need to send all of them, our love and support.
And for the person who was driving.

  4. such a dangerous corner should be fixed, not the first time a vehicle has gone down there. There is no sidewalk and kids go along there to school, please let’s have this fixed. Very sorry for this young teen to lose his life and for his family and friends, also for the driver that will carry this burden for the rest of his life. Our heart goes out to all.

  5. My heart goes out to this young boys family. Such a tragic loss.
    That road is so dangerous.

  6. As I feel upset yet another sooke teen dies..it seems to me that each and everyone was either drunk driving or excessive speed. I believe we need lower speed limits and more counter attack units out there. ..more highway patrol units. Godbless Carter.

  7. It is heart breaking to hear that yet again someone has lost their life on Sooke road. I send my sympathies out to family, friends and all who knew the young man. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to the driver as well. You are no doubt besides physical pain, feeling the pain in losing your friend. For you too I pray for peace, healing and the strength to move on. Lay your grief and woes in the Creator’s hand.
