What better time than a sunny summer morning to clean out your bottles – and support musical education for kids in Sooke!
Please save your empties and bring them on Sat July 25th from 8 am to noon (under the SEAPARC sign at the corner of Sooke Rd. and Phillips Rd.)
If you have bottles but can’t make it on July 25th, please email Jan Barylski at email@example.com to arrange for pick-up.
Your contributions will help support the Strings and Drumline programs provided by Harmony Project Sooke (HPS), which will be continuing some classes online through the summer.
The first-ever HPS Virtual Year-end Celebration Concert took place on June 23rd. Thanks to the technical wizardry of teacher organizer Maria Wang and HPS Secretary-Treasurer Richard Sharman, the Zoom concert with quite an extensive program went off with hardly a hitch.
The concert featured performances by Strings and Drumline students plus their teachers. Below is a screen-shot of some of the many performers and audience members:
