The following post appeared on Facebook today, regarding garbage dumped near Langford.

From the post:

Details: The condition of the item is “used” and in “fair” condition.

In the message: “To the people who dumped this on the beginning of Fore Bay rd. Go get it. Name is in pictures”

Generally speaking, if you are going to dump trash for public scrutiny, ensure your name and/or address doesn’t appear in an envelope included in the garbage bags.

NOTE: The name in the garbage bag may NOT be the name of the person responsible. The original poster added an addendum noting, “Before you guys have a public execution I had [a]… tenant that I paid for monthly garbage with Alpine for…. Well, they still decided to take garbage and dump it a couple km away from the house. … When the garbage was found I got publicly shamed on a group before I even knew that I was the culprit. Just saying maybe give [that person] a chance.”
