Finally our efforts to protect the lands around Muir Creek seem to be bearing fruit! The CRD is working on a plan, in co-operation with T’Sou-ke Nation.
This is a good time to send them words of encouragement! Please write letters (addressed to Chair and Directors): CRD Regional Parks Committee Chair David Screech firstname.lastname@example.org and CRDBoard@crd.bc.ca with copy to MLA John Hogan email@example.com.
We are asking for the CRD to acquire as much of the Muir watershed as possible: at least from the mouth of the estuary to the power lines, in conjunction with the T’Sou-ke First Nation
Please add your personal experiences, thoughts and priorities for this beautiful natural area.
