Rest and re-balance your hormones using this three minute technique
This week’s Life Hack is for coping with tiredness when you don’t have enough time to sleep
A restful hormone balance can be increased in the body if you spend at least a few minutes in the following position.
- Lie on your back with your legs on a chair. Or,
Lie close to a wall with your legs sticking straight up the wall.
- Rest like this for at least three minutes
How does it work?
Lying with your legs elevated changes the pressure on the circulation. It makes it easier to drain the blood from the legs back to the heart. This change of circulation along with lying down allows the body to rest in a significant way in just a short period of time.
