Life Hacks and Coping Skills: Speak in public with increased ease

This simple hand position activates your brain’s communication’s centre
This week’s Life Hack is for coping with fear when you need to give a presentation.
There is a hand position that you can use to help you speak more easily.
- Touch the tip of your pinky finger to the tip of your thumb
- Leave the other three fingers sticking out straight
- Now speak
How does it work?
Each finger tip of your hand activates a portion of your brain. When you touch the tip of the finger together with the thumb it activates your brain. When you touch the pinky finger together with the thumb you activate the area of the brain that controls communication. Activating this centre makes it easier to speak even if you are afraid. If your throat has a hard time relaxing so that you can speak you can also think of the colour blue. That will open up your throat chakra.
