Logo contest: grass roots organization turns to the community for ideas
-Sooke Region Communities Health Network
The Sooke Region Communities Health Network (SRCHN) has worked to create a strong partnership of groups concerned with serving Sooke Region communities and promoting health and wellness.
SRCHN now wants to invite all Sooke Region residents to participate in a logo contest; to come up with a symbol that reflects what we do, who we are and if possible the communities we represent, namely Beecher Bay, East Sooke, T’Sou-ke First Nation, Sooke, Otter Point, Shirley, Jordan River, Port Renfrew and Pacheedaht.
“Soooke Region Communities Health Network is a grass-roots organization, so it is only natural that we reach out the public to further develop our identity”, explains SRCHN Coordinator Christine Bossi.
SRCHN will have a booth at the Sooke Volunteer Fair at EMCS Wednesday, April 6th, if hopefuls want to learn more about the organization and the contest. Also one can consult our new website or contact the coordinator by email. Youth and First Nations are encouraged to participate.
The selected entry will win a $40.00 gift card from any local merchant. The winning entry may be subject to modifications. Following this process, our website will be revamped to reflect SRCHN’s new image.
