A new Sooke-owned and operated early-morning and all-day breakfast experience is coming to Sooke.
Nope, wait. It’s here!
Angela Thurlborn and “Papa” have opened Papa’s Cook Shack at the location previously known as Cathy’s Corner. They opened their door for business on Wednesday, February 17, and now want to get word out. Brilliantly, they’ve solicited the help of Sooke PocketNews.
They are located at 6697 Sooke Road, on the southeast corner of Sooke and Otter Point Roads.
Papa’s Cook Shack is currently featuring an all-day breakfast, available from 5:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., seven days a week.
This family owned-and-operated business has visions of outdoor dining in the summer, and may host a hotdog cart as well. Their menu will be changing over time, so periodically check them out.
Sooke PocketNews currently hosts their all-day breakfast menu on our Dining page.
If you’ve enjoyed breakfast at Cathy’s, check out the all-day breakfasts at Papa’s. And if there’s something you would love to see on their menu, why not drop by, say hi, and make a suggestion. They would love to meet you.
