  1. It is progress, and sidewalks are a necessity in many areas. While I realize asphalt is a cheaper product, why, when we have one of the largest cement/concrete companies on the South Island in Butler Bros. can we not use it in the placement of all our new sidewalks. If we are to be, look like and present our selves as a first class community then let’s start with a simple aesthetic like cement sidewalks?

  2. It is so easy to complain and moan and groan. I’m just going to say, it’s great. I look forward to the safer corner and sidewalks.

  3. its great to have improvements in the town, such as sidewalks and crosswalks but it is time to teach the locals to use these options, the deer do a better job at using the crosswalks than the locals do, in the last few weeks i have seen more people j walking and many deer using the crosswalks, 4 legs are smarter than 2
