POLL: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hired two nannies; what do you think? — 14 Comments

  1. If I recall, Stephen Harper had child-care aged children when he was elected Canada’s Prime Minister and Laureen was fully capable and able to care for her children. Why the double standard?

  2. Prime Minister Trudeau has no integrity but plenty of arrogance. He attacked Mr. Harper on childcare payments to wealthy citizens during his campaign.

  3. they are his kids not canadas,he kisses ass before the election and now us taxpayers suck wind. i wish we could vote on the refugee situation and he would see how canada feels

  4. Do you people have ANY idea how much him, his wife, and inevitably his children travel? It’s not like he is working a 9 to 5 and his wife is at home and they have 2 nannies. Look at the situation first before you get your panties in a bunch.

  5. $340 K a year qualifies you for 24/7 child day care? What if you make $12 K a year and have Seniors to care for?

  6. Newly elected Prime Minister Trudeau has worked harder and done more to combat Global Warming and save Canada and the World. He has been travelling the globe representing Canadians with honour and distinction. Finally we can be proud to say we are Canadian again. All Lisa Rait and the Cons can do is quibble about a few tax payer dollars to provide care for his three children. That is why the Conservatives deserved to be defeated. They continue to show their small mindedness despite serious monumental issues needing consideration. I, for one, am delighted that our Prime Minister can focus on the serious issues knowing that his children are well cared for. This is a stupid tempest in a tea pot.

  7. What is wrong with you people who may object. My sister is a hairdresser and her husband is a truckdriver, and THEY employ a nanny ( as they claim they are SO busy with work). This is a prime Minister. Get real ok.
Me: I am just SO happy Harper is no longer turning Canada into a little USA; you know, all people and our laws and government in the service of Corporate interests.
    Go Justin!
