On October 11th, 2019 at 9:55 pm the West Shore RCMP received a report of a victim who had been stabbed as he was walking on the paved E&N walking trail near Station Avenue going toward the Langford bus exchange.
The 18-year male victim was stabbed once in the back resulting in non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
West Shore RCMP frontline officers and a police service dog searched the area extensively; however, the suspect was not located and is not identified at this time.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 30 years
- Blonde hair
- Wearing blue jeans and a black or grey hoody
