Record breaking: 1,120 more COVID-19 cases, Nov 2, 2020

Since the last report (Friday), there have been 1,120 more diagnosed COVID-19 cases in B.C., with 6,448 people who are under active public health monitoring.
- 24 hour period ending Saturday: 352
- 24 hour period ending Sunday: 389
- 24 hour period ending Monday: 379
Case Counts:
- Total confirmed cases in B.C. since the pandemic began: 15,501
- Vancouver Coastal Health: 4,898 – 234 new (previously 4,664)
- Fraser Health: 9,049 – 830 new (previously 8,219)
- Island Health: 265 – 9 new (previously 256)
- Interior Health: 777 – 36 new (previously 741)
- Northern Health: 422 – 10 new (previously 412)
- 90 (previously 89) individuals whose primary residence is outside of Canada
- Active cases: 2,945 (previously 2,390)
- Hospitalized cases: 90 (previously 78)
- Intensive care: 19 (previously 25)
- Six new deaths (total deaths in BC to date: 269)
- Recovered: 12,207 (previously, 10,954)
- 852,267 individuals have been tested as of Nov 2, 2020
(was 817,076 individuals have been tested as of Oct 29, 2020) - Suspected Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children or MIS-C: 16
One child under 5 has tested positive for MIS-C and COVID-19; that child is fully recovered
