Do you want to be moved, entranced and warmed to the core? If so, should you ever have the opportunity again, go to the next performance of the African Children’s Choir that you can find. It’s a lovely, no, beautiful experience and it really rejuvenates feelings of the goodness of mankind.
These kids are something.
Dressed in adorable outfits, smiling constantly at the audience and very, very talented, this group of children bring something special to the stage. The lesson we are intended to learn, that of hope for all, is clear and uplifting. The performers are very good, the songs so happy and light and the choreography is so well done that the audience can’t help but smile.
These kids entranced me so much that I was ready to take them all to the beach, to give them good ol’ Canadian all beef hotdogs, and to offer them all my house to play in. Obviously I was having a few moments of insanity, but their precocious actions and beautiful spirits just did it to me.
So … if you need a lift, want to help a good cause or just love the sound of children singing, take in this great performance if there’s ever another opportunity. These kids show a goodness that we often forget exists and it’s worth it just to feel like that.
