Did you feel it? According to information on the the US Geological Survey website, there was a 3.3 magnitude earthquake this morning, in the Juan de Fuca strait. According to their intensity map, it would have been stronger in Victoria than in Sooke.
It took place in the waters, 28.1 km south-east of Oak Bay, B.C. (21km north/north-east of Sequim, WA), and occurred 21.3km deep.
