Besides being open for breakfast and lunch, Sooke Harbour House is adding some new temptations. For Sooke locals only, there will be a three-course meal for just $40. Make it a dinner for two, and take advantage of their dine-and-stay deeply discounted rooms.
“If locals would like a night in any of our rooms, whichever category, they can do so for only an extra $125,” says Kate Saunders, Directory of IT and Digital Marketing. The value of these rooms are up to $450 a night. “I think this is the best offer we have had in years, and it’s only for Sooke Locals.”

Reservations for dinner and overnight stays are essential, and guests must mention the Sooke Local Christmas Special to get the discount. Feel free to call 250-642-3421 for the details.
“We don’t usually open on these days, but we wanted to do something special for Sookies,” says Saunders. “We have all our trimmings up, the fires are crackling away and we have Christmas music. It’s absolutely beautiful!”
Breakfast, lunch, 15% discount to continue
Sooke Harbour House is pleased to announce that their breakfast and lunch menus, which started in November, will continue into the New Year.
“We are trying really hard to make the locals feel welcome. We want it to feel like Sooke Harbour House is well within reach, as we are all part of the same community,” says Saunders. “We love to support local businesses, and give back to our Sooke family. We want everyone to share in our future success.”
Chef Matthias has made a wonderful new menu.
- Try their Sooke Harbour House Breakfast of 2 eggs, fried or scrambled, potatoes, maple smoked bacon or local sausage and toast – all this for only $11.50 plus tax.
- Or lunch on some Linguine with Chanterelle mushroom cream sauce for only $16 plus tax. The lunch menu features a number of entrées, all under $20 (tax and gratuity extra).
- Mention you’re from Sooke, and they will take an additional 15% off your bill
“The breakfast and lunch pricing will continue in the New Year, as will the local 15% discount,” says Saunders.
The fireplaces will be crackling away all day long and their lounge will be open daily, where you can get a Stick in the Mud coffee, a piping hot cup of tea, or a tall refreshing pint of beer.
