Thanks to our donors, the Board of Directors of the Sooke and Juan de Fuca Health Foundation is pleased to acknowledge the Sooke Shelter Society as our first grant recipient. The Sooke Shelter Society volunteers are providing a much-needed service for the homeless and those at risk of being homeless. The $500 grant will go toward providing the necessities of life for those living without a home in and around Sooke.
The Sooke Shelter Society is sponsoring the Coldest Night of the Year family-friendly walk on Saturday, February 22nd to raise money for charities serving the hungry, homeless and hurting people in our community. For information on this fundraiser visit cnoy.org/location/sooke
