Sooke’s sewer expansion to benefit members of the T’Sou-ke Nation — 3 Comments

  1. I thought Sooke had no money. What is the cost to the taxpayer for this expansion and we know our Federal debt is out of control.

  2. Do you have a map of the area that will be serviced by the new sewage system? The article in SPN points out that the T’Souke nation have “aging septic tank systems” which need to be replaced, fair enough that obviously needs to be done.
Could you show us a map of the other areas that will be serviced by the new sewage system? People of Sooke are interested in what specific areas council predict that the future growth of Sooke will occur.

    • No, sorry. You will have to contact either the municipality or the province to get this information. SPN no longer does investigative research, as we have no funding to that work (and consequently, no resources available). If you wish to do the leg work, provide us with your sources, and allow us to publish your findings in the form of a letter to the editor, we would definitely welcome that contribution. For now, SPN is mostly a press release provider.
