Structure fire around 7500 Block of West Coast Road
Sooke fire was called to a structure fire on Saturday, Mar 5 just after 9:30 a.m., at the 7500 block of West Coast Road. It was completely extinguished just after 2:00 in the afternoon. The roads are now re-opened.
There are no fire hydrants in the area, and water had to be trucked in.

Again, DriveBC is doing its best. According to social media tweets from CFAX and the Sooke fire chief, single lane traffic is permitted.
