The Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce is interested in what local people want and need from Sooke businesses, in the present and the future. This is why it is conducting a survey (see below) of Sooke consumers to help local businesses find ways to meet their customers’ needs better.
“Much of our emphasis has been put on our local businesses surviving, which is in part why we created Sooke’s only online shopping mall Better Buy Sooke,” says Karen Mason, the president of the Chamber.
“But businesses can’t survive in a vacuum. They depend on patrons, fans and supporters. The fallout from the pandemic has changed how people spend, how much they spend, and where they spend. This survey will give us an inside peek at how the shopping patterns of Sooke residents have shifted.
“Participating in this survey will help our businesses meet the needs of our residents. Please, take just a minute of your time to complete this survey. Your participation will make a difference.”
The anonymous survey will examine trends and attitudes around consumer spending, online and local shopping, business health and safety precautions, and the post-pandemic economic recovery.
