The doors of the new Tim Horton’s in Sooke opened today, located at 6080 Sooke Rd just east of Edward Milne Community School. As a drive-through convenience store, they have limited seating inside (six two-seaters), none outside (though we hear that outside seating is planned in the near future). Their menu is not yet entirely available, and they expect to be fully stocked by next week.
This Tim Hortons and Petro Canada gas station are built on T’Sou-ke lands, by the T’Sou-ke Nation.
A second Tim Hortons was recently approved for construction in Sooke’s town core. Tim Hortons at Evergreen Mall: still a tentative prospect. In March, Council accepted the development permit (with paver modifications) and entered into a landscape agreement with the developers.
