  1. I really don’t think that 3 weeks of night paving would have increased everyone’s provincial taxes by a noticeable amount. Whenever work is being done on a road that is the only route into and out of a community, for safety reasons alone, the work should automatically be done at night. That should be a no-brainer. To try to make us feel like we somehow aren’t worthy of hard-earned taxpayers dollars (pennies) is contemptuous. Tax breaks for foreign LNG investors, ultra wealthy companies and individuals using tax havens or money laundering instead of paying any taxes at all, spending scandals in provincial legislature, mining and shipping companies refusing to foot the bill for spills….now THAT uses up hard-earned taxpayer dollars.
