Weather warnings continue: Colder than normal, and snow is a’coming
The following weather warnings come directly from Environment Canada: Cold, and white.
Warning: Greater Victoria
Arctic outflow warning in effect for Greater Victoria
Wind chill values ranging from minus 15 to minus 25 expected tonight.
Rising surface pressures over the BC interior will continue to drive arctic air through mainland valleys and inlets this week. Beginning tonight, frigid temperatures and stronger outflow winds are expected.
Temperatures will begin to rebound during the latter half of this week.
Minimize exposed skin with hats, scarves and mittens or gloves. Ensure that shelter is provided for pets and outdoor animals.

Special weather statement in effect for West Vancouver Island
Arctic air has settled over BC.
An Arctic airmass over BC will continue to give very cold conditions to the province. Temperatures over southern BC will continue to drop with the coldest days expected to be today and Thursday.
Temperatures over Interior regions will be 10 to 20 degrees below the seasonal average, while coastal areas will be 5 to 10 degrees below seasonal, making for the coldest conditions seen this season. The frigid conditions will persist for the remainder of the week.
