Webmax.ca has been announced as the WINNER of The President’s Choice award in the Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
As a web design and SEO agency, you may not think much can be done. WebMax.ca channelled their insight and deep experience into finding ways to give high street vendors an online presence. All for free.
By April 2020, WebMax.ca, was able to provide over 100 retailers from Port Alberni to Sooke BC with an e-commerce store, turning around their fortunes. Many more have benefited since, with WebMax partnering with the Sooke Region and Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce to provide a ‘buy now, redeem later’ online gift card, which has been hugely effective in keeping businesses trading over recent months.
Karen Mason, President of the Sooke Region Chamber of Commerce said: “Who is this incredible group of people who did this? For free? WebMax.ca. Thank you so much. A lot of these vendors had never had any online exposure, they didn’t know what they were doing. WebMax.ca hosted online workshops twice a week. It is my honour to give the 2020 President’s Award to WebMax.ca”.
Humbled and honoured by this award, WebMax.ca will continue to help as many companies as it can. Canadian SMEs are one of the business groups most affected by the pandemic and everyone needs to play their part to support them. WebMax.ca is doing their bit.
