A Pacific frontal system approaching the west coast will bring strong winds the inner South coast this weekend. Southeast winds will gradually strengthen and reach 70 km/h gusting to 90 late this evening for areas near the water.
This system will also bring much warmer air into the region, with a chance of flurries changing to rain overnight tonight.
Strong southeast winds will persist through Sunday and ease Sunday overnight in the wake of the frontal system.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
