This November, with the support of a recent $50,000 donation from Spectrum Therapeutics, the medical division of Canopy Growth, Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC) will be providing therapy education sessions with a group of specially trained clinicians for uniformed service personnel and their families in Sooke, British Columbia on November 2, 6, 13 and 16th.
Program Details
Couples Overcoming PTSD Everyday, Sooke, British Columbia
- Canada’s leading clinically facilitated couples-based programming which focuses on those affected by Operational Stress Injury.
Trauma Resiliency Program, Sooke, British Columbia
- Group-based training program combining the power of a team approach with effective, trauma-resilient skills development.
- WWC is a national mental health service provider utilizing clinical best practices and evidence-based care to create an environment of compassion, resiliency and hope for Canada’s Veterans, First Responders and their families.
In addition to the donation, Spectrum Therapeutics will be conducting an internal fundraiser, matching donations from its patients and staff through the month of November – with up to an additional $20,000 being donated to WWC.
